Like Hagerty, the charity has a passion in encouraging the next generation of enthusiasts to enjoy all aspects of historic motoring, while also celebrating the rising popularity of modern classics. David Withers, Chief Executive of StarterMotor added “There is a clear need to engage a new generation, to encourage them to take up careers in the historic vehicle industry and to enjoy historic cars. StarterMotor has partnerships with educational facilities, colleges and apprenticeship schemes and provides vehicles and other resources for their students to not only learn from, but also to use in competitions, events and shows.”

Hagerty is a principle sponsor of StarterMotor, providing support to the charity via monetary donations as well insurance and partnership benefits. Hagerty branding will feature prominently in all charity publicity and communications and the Hagerty team will work closely with the charity at various events, endeavours, and initiatives. Likewise, Starter Motor will partner with numerous Hagerty events such as Festival of the Unexceptional and will support their involvement with the RAC London to Brighton veteran car run.
